We all have the common sense of the result of growing crops in the desert; it’s undoubted that water is essential for agriculture. Hence, water shortage will cause the result of food crises.
Frequently, we hear some areas in the world are suffering severe drought, the farmers have no harvest at all. Try to think about the consequences if there are droughts throughout the world. Isn’t it horrible? I can not imagine.
So far the Earth we are living is the unique star which has lives in the universe, if we human beings continue to destroy our living environment, if in the future there are no enough water resources to support our lives, where should we go?

I agree with you. The water shortage is not the only reason for Food crisis; however, it is definite that water shortage seriously threats the agricultural irrigation system which causes the ability of crop production.
I have heard that in some cities such as Sydney has policy which limited the amount of water can be used in particularly ways such as watering plant. For people in Sydney, they must feel inconvenience in terms of using water, however, it is what we need to be concern that such policy might apply to us in the future in order to save water. We should think about it more serious and take responsibility on it.
What we can do individually in our daily life is that to recycle the waste water. For example, we can store waste water after washing hands and use it to water flower. Taking shower instead of taking bath is also a way to save water.
Hi grace.yes i agree with u too.this water issue is really problem..I think even in indonesia is also the same problem.I know some people who are living in indonesia and they always tend to complain about droughts.I think its very hard for the community becuase most of them are poor.I think it will affect people who are living in rural areas as they have alot of plantations.This is hard for them as they need these plantations for food or for them 2 get money to survive.I hope this water issue wont be a huge problem in the days to come.

We are so lucky living in New Zealand that havn't suffer the water shortage like our neighbour Australia till now.
However, still we need use our water resources effectively and efficiently to save for our future, for our next generation, for our unique Earth.
